    Greening, a company specializing in energy and renewable solutions, has called an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders for 30 October at 09:30 p.m., to be held at the headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce of Granada, where shareholders are expected to vote on the new composition of the company\u2019s Board of Directors.<\/p>

    Among the main changes, the company proposes setting the number of Board members at nine, together with the appointment of Isabel Reija, Isabel Lozano and Cristina Mart\u00ednez as independent directors, and \u00d3scar Ricardo Cabrera as a proprietary director. The four appointments are proposed for a four-year term.<\/p>

    In addition, shareholders will vote on the re-election of Ignacio Salcedo and Manuel Mateos as executive directors, as well as Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Huch and Jos\u00e9 Pazo as independent directors.<\/p>

    Strengthening Greening\u2019s governing bodies<\/h2>

    The proposed appointments will strengthen the company\u2019s highest governing body with profiles combining extensive experience in areas including the energy sector, business leadership and transformation, finance, corporate governance and risk management.<\/p>

    Isabel Reija has more than 30 years of professional experience, primarily in the energy and mobility sectors, combining executive positions with responsibilities on corporate boards. Throughout her career, she has held senior positions at companies including Repsol, Uni\u00f3n Fenosa and Endesa, and was founder and CEO of Fen\u00ede Energ\u00eda, which she led for nearly a decade. She has also served as an independent director of several companies linked to the energy sector and currently serves as President\/Dean of the National Association and College of ICAI Engineers and of the Fundaci\u00f3n Ingenieros ICAI.<\/p>

    Isabel Lozano has more than 35 years of experience in senior management and corporate governance positions. She was co-founder and CEO of Atrys Health, which she led for more than 18 years, overseeing its growth, international expansion and corporate development. Previously, she held senior positions at PharmaMar and Grupo Zeltia and developed part of her career in the private equity sector. She currently also serves as an independent director of Izertis.<\/p>

    Cristina Mart\u00ednez has more than 20 years of experience as a board member and senior executive specializing in corporate governance and strategic risk management, insurance and operational resilience. She has contributed to the transformation of the operating models and sustained growth of multinational companies including Sacyr, Iberia L\u00edneas A\u00e9reas\/IAG and Campofrio Food Group\/Sigma, holding senior management positions in risk, insurance, business continuity, crisis management, regulatory compliance, prevention and sustainability. She currently serves as an independent director of the insurance company MUPOL, where she chairs the Risk Committee; as an advisory board member of InsurTech company IMEureka; and as a member of the Governing Board of the Instituto de Actuarios de Espa\u00f1a. She previously served as Vice President and Board Member of the European Federation of Risk Management Associations (FERMA). She is an economist and actuary, holds a PhD in risk management, and has received several international awards and accreditations recognizing her expertise in good governance and risk management.<\/p>

    A new chapter for Greening<\/h2>

    The appointment of the new directors is part of the process of strengthening Greening\u2019s corporate structure as the company enters a new phase of growth and advances the execution of its 2026\u20132030 Strategic Plan.<\/p>

    The renewal of the Board follows the strengthening of the executive team carried out during 2026, with the appointment of Pablo Ot\u00edn as CEO, Felipe Garc\u00eda Agust\u00edn as CFO and, most recently, Jos\u00e9 Luis L\u00e1zaro as the company\u2019s Director of Legal & Compliance.<\/p>

    Pablo Ot\u00edn, <\/strong>CEO of Greening, said: \u201cThe appointment of the new directors represents another step in strengthening Greening as we enter this new phase. Their track records and experience in strategic areas will contribute to the execution of our 2026\u20132030 Strategic Plan.     2026\u20132030 Strategic Plan<\/h2>

    In recent months, the company has advanced the execution of its 2026\u20132030 Strategic Plan, aimed at transforming its business model into an integrated energy platform, with a focus on recurring revenues, a stronger financial structure and profitable growth.<\/p>

    As part of this roadmap, the company has identified priority markets, adjusted the size of the organization and carried out various corporate transactions aimed at optimizing its business and strengthening its financial structure, including a \u20ac30 million capital increase and the takeover bid for Energy Solar Tech.<\/p>
