Greening takes another step forward in its international growth strategy by strengthening its positioning as an EPC company in the United States. Through its EPC execution arm Greensol, it has started the construction of a new 102 MW solar project for Heelstone Renewable Energy, Murch Solar, LLC (“Murch”), located in Van Buren County, Michigan.
This new contract marks a milestone in Greening’s consolidation in the U.S. market, where it is already executing its first project in the state of Indiana, and reinforces its ability to develop complex energy infrastructure with the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Greensol is Greening’s execution arm in the United States for the construction of renewable energy projects, integrating the group’s global experience with technical capabilities adapted to the North American market. This model allows the company to offer turnkey EPC solutions for solar and energy storage projects, both at utility scale and for industrial clients (C&I).
Greening is a global renewable energy company, vertically integrated, covering the entire value chain: from development and generation to the commercialization of green energy, through a diversified portfolio of technologies including photovoltaic, wind, biogas, and energy storage (BESS).
Ignacio Salcedo, Executive Chairman of Greening, states:“With Greensol, we continue to move forward on our roadmap, in which the United States is a priority market. We aim to address a clear need in the North American industrial market by providing a highly specialized and reliable technical partner, capable of executing complex solar and storage projects with quality, efficiency, and full regulatory compliance.”
Projects under execution
Currently, Greensol is building an 82 MW solar plant in the state of Indiana for one of the largest technology companies with nationwide presence. This project demonstrates Greening’s ability to execute large-scale projects while meeting demanding technical standards and delivery timelines.
New project in Michigan
The new project in Michigan, developed by Heelstone Renewable Energy, a leading utility-scale platform in the United States and part of Qualitas Energy, involves the construction of a 102 MW solar plant, whose execution began in October 2025.
With this contract, Greening strengthens its positioning as a strategic partner for the development of renewable infrastructure in the United States, in line with the country’s decarbonization goals and the growing energy demand from the industrial and corporate sectors.
