Greening has launched Greensol, a new business platform that will bring together its engineering and construction operations across the United States, Mexico, Italy, and Spain. The company aims to position this new division as a leading player in the energy and electrical infrastructure sectors, with the capacity to expand into additional markets and service lines in a second phase.
The launch represents far more than a rebranding exercise. It marks the creation of a dedicated business structure designed to consolidate the Group’s engineering, procurement, and construction capabilities. Through Greensol, Greening will combine its international expertise in renewable energy projects, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and grid infrastructure to deliver an integrated value proposition for developers, industrial clients, and investors.
The new platform builds on the EPC business that Greening has already established across multiple markets. In the United States, Greensol serves as the Group’s execution arm for renewable energy projects, delivering turnkey solutions for solar power plants and battery energy storage systems across both the utility-scale and commercial & industrial (C&I) segments. The company highlights its expertise in large-scale solar EPC, BESS integration, and the deployment of advanced energy storage technologies alongside solar generation.
The creation of Greensol comes at a time of continued international expansion for Greening. In April, the Group announced the award of a 102 MW EPC contract in Michigan for the Murch Solar Project, developed by Heelstone Renewable Energy. At that time, Greensol was already presented as Greening’s execution platform for renewable energy projects in the United States, with capabilities tailored to the North American market.
The newly announced business scope now extends that approach, positioning Greensol as a cross-border platform that consolidates Greening’s engineering and construction operations across the United States, Mexico, Italy, and Spain. According to the company, this structure represents the first step in a broader strategy that will incorporate new capabilities and geographic markets to strengthen its position in the energy and electrical infrastructure sectors.
Greensol will leverage Greening’s extensive experience in the development, construction, and operation of renewable energy assets. Founded in Granada, Spain, Greening operates across renewable power generation, energy solutions, and electricity retail, while significantly expanding its international presence in recent years, particularly in the United States, Mexico, Italy, and Spain.
The new platform will focus on the execution of solar photovoltaic projects, battery energy storage systems (BESS), high-voltage infrastructure, substations, and grid connection projects. Through this initiative, Greening aims to unify its construction capabilities under a single brand, increase operational scale, and respond to growing market demand for integrated energy solutions, faster project delivery, and the technical expertise required to connect new renewable assets to the electricity grid.
