This secures the award of seven projects belonging to the company, bringing the total capacity awarded to Greening to 25 MW. There is also an additional 3.22 MW project pending final confirmation under the NZIA, which would increase the total capacity awarded to 28.13 MW.
The seven currently awarded projects, with a combined capacity of 25 MW, are located in Emilia-Romagna and Lombardy, two regions with high industrial activity. Among these projects is a 6.15 MW agro-photovoltaic installation that is fully aligned with new market trends and recent regulatory frameworks that promote the integration of agricultural activity and renewable energy generation.
The awarded capacity ensures regulated revenues for the next 20 years. All projects are currently in the Ready to Build (RTB) phase, and construction is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2026.
Additionally, Greening has 292 MW of photovoltaic capacity under development and 720 MW in BESS projects, strengthening its position in the Italian market and consolidating its growth strategy in renewable energy and storage technologies.
Alejandro Ruiz, Country Manager of Greening Italy, stated: “The award of 28 MW in FER X reinforces our presence in Italy and consolidates a more stable and secure long-term portfolio. It is a decisive step that confirms our strategy and our commitment to sustainable growth in a key market.”
