Granada, September 30, 2025 – Tradebe Environmental Services has partnered with Greening Group to launch an innovative solar panel recycling plant in Granada. The operation combines the experience of both companies to drive sustainable solutions in the energy industry.
This pioneering project in Spain seeks to address the growing volume of photovoltaic modules reaching the end of their useful life, ensuring their proper recovery and reintegration into the production cycle. The new facility will recover strategic materials such as glass, aluminum, and silicon, helping to reduce environmental impact.
“This operation represents a strategic step in our growth and strengthens our commitment to the circular economy, promoting solar panel recycling and reaffirming our commitment to innovation and sustainability,” said Víctor Creixell, CEO of Tradebe Environmental Services.
Meanwhile, Ignacio Salcedo, Chairman of Greening Group, emphasized: “The alliance with Tradebe marks a decisive boost for the Greening Relive project and reinforces Greening Group’s strategy in the field of circular economy, combining our expertise in the photovoltaic sector with Tradebe’s long-standing track record in environmental services.”
In addition, José Manuel Ramírez, who will take on the role of Managing Director of the project, stated: “Our goal is to turn the Jerez del Marquesado plant into a European benchmark in photovoltaic recycling. What began as an idea has become a reality thanks to the Group’s efforts and close collaboration with the University of Granada. We want to demonstrate that sustainability, innovation, and social commitment can come together in a single project.” Ramírez added: “This facility will not only reduce the environmental impact of end-of-life panels, but will also contribute to local job creation and strengthen Andalusia’s position as a technological hub in the circular economy.”
The Jerez del Marquesado plant is expected to begin operations in October of this year, creating local employment and consolidating itself as a European benchmark in solar panel recycling.
